You can create and manage GTIN and GLN identifiers in the GS1 Rekisteri
In the GS1 Rekisteri, you can create all GTIN product identifiers as well as GLN location and party identifiers. GS1 Rekisteri automatically calculates the check digit when you generate the code.
All used GTIN and GLN identifiers created elsewhere must also be recorded in the GS1 Rekisteri. In this way, you can see the identifiers used by your company and the number of remaining numbers all in one place, and you can check to which item any product number (GTIN code) or party number (GLN code) belongs. The information from the GS1 Rekisteri is transmitted to the international Verified by GS1 register search, where, for example, your trading partners can check the information on your identifiers.

The check digit tool calculates the last digit of the identifier
The check digit counter calculates the last digit of unique identifiers, such as the SSCC code, i.e. the check digit. The check digit is calculated based on the previous digits, with the purpose of ensuring that the code has been entered correctly.
We always recommend verifying that the check digit is correct before printing the barcode. If the digit is wrong, the code is unreadable and does not work on barcode scanners.
With the GTIN-13 calculator, you can also calculate a check digit for the GLN number. However, we recommend using the GS1 Rekisteri service to create and manage GTIN and GLN identifiers.
